Thomas Mager joined Volocopter, pioneer in Urban Air Mobility, as one of the very first employees. In his role as Senior Business Development Manager he is responsible for all business-related topics : most notably the development of strategic partnerships to build-up the ecosystem necessary to make Urban Air Mobility a reality. This includes the integration with the physical and digital infrastructure as well as liaising between the technological development, market development and work with local authorities. An engineer by profession, Mager has access to both the technical and business aspects of building the air taxi business.

In this capacity he leads efforts in various cities worldwide to prepare the launching of the first commercial Volocopter air taxi routes. In recent years specifically, he led the Volocopter flight projects in Dubai, Las Vegas, Helsinki, and Singapore.

Volocopter is building the world’s first sustainable and scalable urban air mobility business to bring affordable air taxi services to megacities worldwide. With the VoloCity, the company is developing the first fully electric “eVTOL” aircraft in certification to safely and quietly transport passengers within cities. Volocopter leads and cooperates with partners in infrastructure, operations, and air traffic management to build the ecosystem necessary to ‘Bring Urban Air Mobility to Life’.
